The 13th Annual Bravo Awards
Updated: Feb 15
Every year, we gather to celebrate the standout members of our organization at The Bravo Awards! The awards are designed to encourage, reward, and recognize those members who represent the qualities we foster, promote, and encourage within the Women's Networking Alliance. Each chapter votes for the members who they feel deserve to be recognized for each award. There are three categories of awards at the Chapter level:
This award is given to the member whose actions clearly inspire us to grow ourselves and our businesses by providing and recommending ideas, lessons, and educational opportunities. The recipient of this award is clearly an inspiration to the group and one that the group highly respects as a leader in business.
This award is given to the member who has demonstrated leadership within and outside of the group including promoting our organization and its members.
Member of the Year
This award is given to the member who clearly supports all of our goals including supporting each other personally and professionally. Attendance, number of referrals, and activity within the group is a heavy consideration for this award as well as the member’s ability to promote WNA and its members. The recipient of this award truly demonstrates the purpose of the Women's Networking Alliance and our charter to grow ourselves and our businesses.
We also have awards at the Executive level, designed to recognize members for their efforts and accomplishments at the national level. We are excited to have introduced two new Executive level awards this year!
Most Membership Referrals (New Award)
This award is given to the member who referred the most new members to the Women's Networking Alliance in the previous calendar year.
Most Business Referrals (New Award)
This award is given to the member who referred the most business to other WNA members in the previous calendar year.
National Member of the Year
This award is given to a member who has made an impact within the Women's Networking Networking Alliance as a whole. The recipient of this award truly demonstrates our purpose and charter to grow ourselves and our businesses. This award is a voted award amongst the Executive Board.
Chapter President of the Year
This award is given to the chapter president who has demonstrated their ability to create, lead, and manage a chapter that truly supports all aspects of our foundation including community involvement and education. The recipient of this award has successfully chosen members to create a collaborative and partnering chapter, has outstanding communication skills, and has earned the respect of their members.
We are so pleased to announce the winners of the 2021 Bravo Awards. A very big congratulations to you all!

Community Giving Back
WNA is committed to giving back to our communities. Each year, every chapter selects an organization to support through group activities. We also support a non-profit at the organization level, as well. We have selected YWCA as our community partner. They are dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
When we host in-person events, we gather supplies to donate to create Survivor Care Kits. Since our event was completely virtual this year, we encouraged our members to make donations directly to the YWCA chapter of their choice. We are proud to say that we raised over $510 in donations.
We couldn't do what we do without the support of our Bravo Award Sponsors! A big thank you to:
Bonni Kelly, member of Chapter 130 in Morgan Hill and owner of Pono Wellness Spa. Pono Wellness Spa fills your senses with the tropical essence of the islands. They offer individualized Therapeutic Massage by expert Massage Therapists. Onsite, they have two infrared saunas to help you relax, and detox your way to better health. What started as a hobby that Niki Canotas, member of Chapter 112, could share with her partner, Mike, has expanded into a thriving honey business. Beyond simply producing honey, Niki is committed to bee rescue and supporting pollination operations for local farms. Based out of Campbell, CA, and found almost exclusively in local stores, Mike & Niki‘s Honey has committed from their earliest days as a company to support local causes.
