The President's Program - join our 2010 team!

WNA is pleased to announce a new national program in 2010.  We are opening new Chapter President positions throughout the United States and would invite you to review our program to determine if you'd be interested in joining us.

The President's Program is designed to encourage entreprenurial women to become a WNA leader in the form of a Chapter President.  WNA Chapter President's are responsible for managing a local WNA Chapter including:

  • the establishment of a local WNA chapter in their area by recruiting women business owners
  • the creation of a local WNA Chapter Board to enable a support model to you as a chapter president as well as provide other women in your chapter with leadership and visibility opportunities
  • managing all meetings and memberships
  • ensuring the foundation of WNA is upheld at all times including a minimum of one community activity per year

The WNA model is one of flexibility including a light structure including a meeting format that is simple, proven and flexible.  WNA has processes in place which make your job easy including a start to finish membership onboard process, annual dues renewal process and a variety of helpful resouces.  We've created a program that will allow you to be an efficient Chapter President.

Annual Dues
WNA is truly about enabling, empowering and supporting growth and to that end, our financial model is not a "get rich quick scheme".  In fact, our member annual dues are only $150 ($100 for board members).  The Chapter President's dues are waived and a percentage is allocated to you for supplies.

What makes a good Chapter President?
Being a WNA Chapter President is about genuine leadership.  You must possess great communication, inclusion and facilitation skills.  You must be the perfect example to the organization.  We want our members to feel safe and a true part of the organization and this is accomplished by ensuring each member has an equal ability to contribute.  WNA is about the simplist notion of supporting and empowering one another - ensuring that we support our members with their challenges and help them celebrate their successes.

Leads & Referral Program
In the true spirit of networking, WNA has an online and a physical lead and referral program.  While we offer this program and its a foundational element of networking, we do not have minimum requirements for the number of leads/referrals.  It is heavily encourage, of course, to partner and search for business - after all, we are a networking organization.

Community Outreach
We feel strongly about giving back and its a requirement of all WNA Chapters to hold a minimum of one community partnership per year.  Whether it's helping other women, teens or a local food bank, it's our way of ensuring we are giving back, even if its something

Our founder and the board of directors is here to ensure you have the resources you need to become a successful chapter president.  If you're interested in becoming a leader in your community, growing your business and are willing to help others do the same - we're interested in talking to you.  Next step is to complete our online Chapter President Application
